Open up a closed-off galley kitchen with dated oak cabinets and replace it with a modern open-concept space the family could actually live in.
The Build
Removed a load-bearing wall and installed an LVL beam between the dining room and kitchen. New shaker cabinets, granite counters, subway tile backsplash, and refinished hardwood floors throughout.
